I had read...Thanks for the link to the NYT article. I had read about the Stevenson case before it came to trial, but didn't know how it turned out. I guess a deadlocked jury is a pretty good result. <BR/><BR/>I love both birds and cats, and I know that cats can do perfectly well living indoors only. Now and then a strange cat will wander by my place (which is rural and good bird habitat), and I become so afraid they'll stick around to kill "my" birds, but they haven't. Last spring though, one did and I borrowed a live trap and caught her and took her to the Humane Society, where she was adopted, hopefully to a loving home where she will be kept inside! <BR/><BR/>- Lucy CatAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
